As a People, Engagement and Culture Coordinator at Jarlette Health Services, you will work under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer. The People, Engagement and Culture Coordinator implements strategic actions with a focus on increasing Employee, Resident / Family and Stakeholder engagement, employee development while assisting the organization to fulfill the mandate for providing quality service to effectively advance the overall strategic plan, philosophy and mission of Jarlette Health Services. Seeks opportunities to reduce risk and grow culture and engagement. Assists with the development, implementation and evaluation of the strategic communications solutions of Jarlette Health Services through a marketing and communication framework, with a focus on relationship building with Residents / Families, Employees and Stakeholders. Assists with the implementation of the media relations strategy, government relations strategy, public relations strategy and event planning and coordination with a goal to increase engagement of all parties.
**The Following Traits and Qualifications are Required**:
- Degree/Diploma in Business, Leadership, Communications, Human Resources, Hospitality, Recreation or Health
- Experienced in the principles of adult education
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including flexibility and diplomacy
- Demonstrated organizational, time management and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience in the seniors housing industry or industry related fields
- Customer-focused attitude
- Must be computer literate
- Valid driver's license and willing to travel
- Demonstrates an active interest in ongoing education, specifically related to strategies to drive engagement and retention
