Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Physiomed is a multi-disciplinary patient care organization with clinics located in the GTA and surrounding regions. Physiomed offers a complete range of coordinated rehabilitative services that includes: physiotherapy, chiropractic, registered massage therapy, athletic therapy, nutritional counseling, acupuncture, naturopathy, clinical conditioning, and medical products.
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Reception for a busy clinic with multiple health practitioners.
- Welcome new and existing patients and visitors in a very friendly, welcoming, approachable manner.
- Receive phone calls and be able to prioritize calls and real-time patient interaction.
- Must have dynamic and energetic personality with a passion for promoting health and wellness.
- Operate point of sale transaction terminal for accepting cash, credit and debit payments.
- Schedule patients for treatments and consultations.
- Operate computer to access electronic medical records, schedules and other basic office support software.
- Communicating with insurance companies (extended health, motor vehicle accident and WSIB).
- Invoicing and collecting through online billing portals (Telus Health, Provider Connect, Sun Life etc.)
