As we continue to grow we are looking to add a **Human Resources Coordinator in Eastern Canada** to the Scandi Family in a **100% permanent full time Remote **position

**What your day to day will look like**:

- Recruitment: Support recruitment function across organization including but not limited to; shortlisting resumes, pre-screening applicants, conducting interviews and reference checks.
- New Employee Orientation and Onboarding: Schedule and lead employee orientations for all new employees ensuring a welcoming first impression. Set up and update all employee documentation/ set up including payroll and IT.
- Performance Management: Coach Managers on HR best practices and draft warning letters for hourly cleaners, corporate employees and owner operators under the guidance of the HR Director.
- Investigations: Conduct investigations into any received complaints ensuring completion of all required documentation under the guidance of the HR Director.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Completion of post secondary education in Human Resources Management
- 1-3 years of previous experience in a Human Resources capacity
- Knowledge of Human Resources processes and best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems considered an asset
- Fantastic communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information while keeping organized amongst fast changing priorities
