Tutor - Administrative Assistant

The tutor's role is crucial in supporting learners in mastering the skills covered in their course, whether theoretical, practical, or behavioral. The tutor enhances the learning experience by bringing a practical dimension to the theoretical concepts explored on our online platform. Additionally, the tutor shares their own professional expertise, providing learners with a concrete and enriching perspective on their learning journey, while helping them grow in their field of study.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare structured virtual sessions with a combination of activities and exercises to help learners master the course skills;
Lead virtual sessions once a week or bi-weekly, in the evening;
Follow administrative procedures;
Track students' academic progress;
Respond to student messages and facilitate discussion forums;
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
**Education & Experience**:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field;
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a corporate environment;
Experience in education is a plus.
**Technical Skills**:
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365 (Teams);
Proficiency in Sage 50 software;
Knowledge of Moodle is a plus;
Proficiency in OMNIVOX is an asset.
**Required Aptitudes**:
Dynamic and personable;
Rigorous, deadline-oriented, organized, and structured;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to express oneself confidently online in front of a group;
Ability to simplify complex concepts.
POSITION CHARACTERISTICS
This is a contractual position, renewable every 15 weeks.
