**Job Summary**

The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst is responsible for gathering, configuring and testing sections of the system while ensuring alignment with predetermined objectives. The incumbent collaborates with stakeholders and influences them to leverage new technologies. The role supports configuration activities from design to deployment of Human Resources (HR) technologies including Cornerstone on Demand, SharePoint and Tableau.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders
- Design processes using the system that are in alignment with business stakeholders’ needs
- Carry out configuration and testing of different modules such as Recruitment, Onboarding, Learning, etc.
- Deploy the newly configured pieces in Production
- Ensure stability of roll-out modules
- Integrate third parties with IT assistance
- Support internal HR groups with new functionalities (demonstrations, training, documentation)
- Help maintain the integrity and reliability of the current system (security roles, group management)
- Validate new releases through regression testing
- Analyze, troubleshoot and carry out additional audit and analysis post implementation to ensure governance is being followed
- Provide standard reports to various stakeholders
- Collaborate with vendors for ongoing support and issue management
- Collaborate with other HRIS team members, HR team, I&T groups and key stakeholders

Working Conditions

The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and manage stress.

**Requirements**:
Experience

**Human Resource Information System**
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience configurating an HRIS
- Between 3 to 5 years in Business Analysis*
- Between 1 to 2 years in Quality Assurance*
- Between 1 to 2 years in Release Management*
- Between 1 to 2 years in Microsoft Excel*
- Between 1 to 2 years using Tableau*
- Between 1 to 2 years using SharePoint*
- Experience with the Learning Management System (LMS) module from Cornerstone*
- Any experience for these above would be considered as an asset

Education/Certification/Designation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Cornerstone Certification*
- Any designation for these above would be considered as an asset

Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Knowledge of HR processes, specifically Training and Certification processes
- Knowledge of the Agile methodology
- Knowledge of Project Management
- Knowledge of rail transportation or logistic industry *
- Any knowledge for any of the above would be considered as an asset
