About the Position

Additionally, you will be working with clients to manage their IT budget and prioritize their investments. This position is a dynamic and fast paced mixture of relationship building, business analysis, and consulting.

This position will be remote, but some onsite client visits may be required.

**Responsibilities**:
The Strategic Advisor role is tailored for an industry professional that has a passion for IT. You will have the opportunity to work closely with business owners and C-level executives. Some of the responsibilities that you will have include the following:

- Visit client sites as needed to meet with clients and gather information
- Create/revise each client's IT Plan
- Present each client their IT Plan annually
- Review client's IT Plans quarterly
- Conduct a quarterly conference call with clients to review their IT Plan and get approval to move forward on any items scheduled for the quarter
- Assist client with budgeting and prioritization of IT Plan
- Understand business needs and recommend technology solutions to meet needs
- Help clients identify opportunities to use technology to improve processes or otherwise advance their business
- Provide evidence/ROI to support your recommendations when applicable
- Prepare project outlines/scopes for IT Plan solutions that the client has approved
- Keep your clients aligned with industry best practices
- Respond to client requests within 4 hours, during business hours including days when in the field.
- Provide friendly, personalized customer service
- Ensure happier IT is meeting all of our clients' needs
- Traveling to client's offices may be required

**Requirements**:

- 2-5 years of experience working in an IT related role
- General understanding of the following IT concepts
- Network designs/topology
- Networking
- Servers/Server Roles
- Virtualization
- Storage
- Routing
- Firewalls
- WAN Technologies
- General understanding of the current threat types of cyber security
- General understanding of disaster recovery / business continuity solutions
- General understanding of software licensing
- Experience working on a peer level with business executives and owners
- Experience presenting and communicating ideas
- Able to think quickly and respond to questions/objections
- Fluent, clear spoken English
- Excellent written English (to create clear, concise, client-facing communications)
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and triage client requests as they come in
- Ability to ask the right questions to clearly understand client requests
- Ability to interpret client requests and understand root meaning/cause
- Resourcefulness to find answers and solve problems
- Available to clients via phone outside of business hours in the event of emergencies
- Clear Criminal Record
