**Inventory Control and AP Specialist**
**Responsibilities**
Inventory Control (80%)
- Plan and manage inventory levels of purchased materials
- Implementing & maintaining operational procedures for all activities related to the movement of materials into and out of the inventory locations
- Hold accountability for inventory in the department and maintain records.
- Organizing warehouse space to accommodate inventory, raw materials, shipping materials and finished goods to optimize production workflow in and out of the warehouse
- Performing annual physical inventory count and quarterly cycle counts as required
- Analyze/reconcile inventory count results and generate period end reports alongside with the finance department
- Investigate and resolve all inventory & WIP discrepancies
- Monitor the status of inventory and accurate disposition
- Accurately picking, counting and labeling parts to fulfilled customer orders and for the manufacturing team
- Working closely with accounting team for any discrepancies or issues with use of GL codes, sales order fulfillment issues, invoicing, credit issuing and inventory adjustments
- Execute implementation of engineering changes with the Manufacturing team
- Opening/closing manufacturing orders in GP to capture all the job orders done in house
- Assist in the analysis of costing data
- Assist with the implementation of labor tracking for manufacturing orders, custom projects and service orders
- Monitor and control excess and obsolete materials
- Identify/tag all incoming/outgoing capital equipment and update asset log per company policy
- Other duties as assigned
Accounts Payable (20%)
- Ensure invoices are matched with correct purchase order
- Enter and code PO and Non-PO invoices into ERP System
- Review and reconcile vendor accounts and coordinate with vendors
- Post wire transfer payment batches in ERP System
- Investigate and resolve Accounts Payable Discrepancies between PO’s and AP invoices
**Qualification and Experience**
- Experience working within an electronics manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 7 years in Inventory Management experience in a progressively responsible positions is preferred
- Strong ERP skills. Experience with Great Plains ERP System is highly desirable
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communications skills
- Good physical fitness and ability to move boxes weighing up to fifty pounds as needed
- Certification in APICs or SCMP is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or supply chain management is preferred.
