Account Manager

Province Electric Supply is a full-line, service-oriented, electrical distributor with 12 branches across Southern Ontario.
**Scope of Position**
The Account Manager role is responsible for growing existing accounts, acquiring new accounts, as well as promoting, selling, and securing product orders through a relationship-based approach.
**Major Responsibilities**:
- This is a "hunting" role that will actively seek new customers in their assigned territory
- Continue to develop and grow relationships with current customers
- Preform regular and scheduled calls on assigned accounts
- Promote and sell Province Electric products and services to customers
- Team up with other Province Electric sales specialists where appropriate in order to leverage total solution capability
- Provide assistance and product support to customers when required
- Attend scheduled sales meetings
- Attend manufacturers training when provided
- Strive for continuous growth and improvement
- Keep abreast of new products and pricing trends in the market
- Perform special projects as requested
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- 1+ years experience working in the electrical industry
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Strong Industry knowledge
- Skilled at assessing client needs, developing proposals, and delivering solutions
- Knowledge of wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Possesses strong relationship building skills to cultivate and develop customer loyalty
- Ability to be proactive, and problem solve
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Superb written, verbal, and communication skills
- Must be results orientated and possess the ability to work independently and in a team
