**Test Centre Manager**

We are hiring for a Centre Manager within the Testing Centre. This position will oversee customer service, general administration, testing procedures, test taker outreach, business development, financial duties, and communication with the testing partners.

**Duties**:
**1.** **To provide effective administration of the GV Victoria Testing Centre and test venue staff in accordance with Exams Quality Standards and corporate standards**
- Complete all administrative tasks related to the exams
- Adhere to Examinations and School Code of Practice, regulations and policies
- Manage testing venues, including off-sites.
- Manage venue staff and ensure all are compliant with EQS standards and corporate standards
- Conducting annual audits and ensure compliance with all standards and procedures.
- Perform financial duties in line with corporate standards; reconciliation for all transactions
- Review and approve timesheets on a bi-weekly basis in line with BC Employment Standards and corporate policies
- Schedule and manage staff training following the corporate standards
- To respond to written enquiries with 24 hours.

**2.** **Exams materials security, software and electronic data**
- Learn and implement technical systems (specialized technical equipment, software, hardware, digital camera, etc.) with confidence.
- Assign exams year calendar and enter it into the system

**3.** **Business Development**
- Liaise business and marketing plan of the school with senior manager
- Ensure customer satisfaction is continually monitored and meets the quality standard set out by Global Village and governing bodies
- Keep up-to-date with the latest relevant developments in professional best practice to ensure that services are provided to agreed quality standards

**4.** **Test Day Supervision**
- Working on-site on test days, which includes weekends and may also include weekdays, to supervise the tests and resolve any test taker issues

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Exceptional attention to detail
- Willing and able to follow established protocols and regulations, while instilling these standards in test day team members
- Strong customer focusand genuine interest, sensitive to people from other cultures
- Solid English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Team-player orientation
- Professionalism and respect of everyone at all times
- Ability to prioritise and be flexible in a fast-paced and continually changing environment
- Well-developed time-management and organisational abilities

**Salary / Benefits**:
The salary range for this start-up position is to be negotiated based on skills and experience, as well as the overall budget of the school and projections for the Test Centre. The initial contract will be for 6-months, after which time performance and over-all growth of the centre will be evaluated and job description adjusted. The Global Village benefits package is offered on top of the salary, available immediately for continuing full-time employees (or after 6 months of full-time employment for new employees).

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$51,000.00 per year

- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
