**Bilingual Customer Service Representative**

**Position Summary**:
At Alpha Controls, the Bilingual Customer Service Representative plays an integral role in the success of our company. Working in our service department, you will serve as a conduit for information between operations, sales, and the customer. We need someone personable, reliable and extremely organized to interact with our customers and internal teams to provide a great customer experience.
This is a demanding and fast-paced position driven on quick turnaround and response times to our customers, so you need to be an excellent multi-tasker You should also be comfortable in independent decision making to proactively communicate with customers and prioritize work without high levels of supervision.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Provide excellent customer service; assess customers' needs and provide product & service support for a positive customer experience
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries re: order status, billings, delivery, ship dates, repair & calibration, etc
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date department files and records
- Contact customers with estimates and get purchase order numbers
- Relay general technical information to customers
- Generate purchase orders for parts and services as needed
- Actively support the company mission, goals, programs, and policies & procedures
- Process units into the calibration lab software so that customer commitments are met
- Assist in shipping/receiving and Sub Contracting processing as required
- Onsite coordination with the Lab Manager
- Increase customer satisfaction and loyalty with outstanding customer support
- Other duties as assigned

- You have impeccable time management and organizational skills
- You can read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- You have basic computer skills and experience
- You know what it takes to create a memorable customer experience
- You are polite, empathic, and carry a professional voice and manner
- You’re a positive person with a great sense of humor & passionate about helping others

**Education and Experience**:
Minimum of a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in a technical environment.
