HR & Reward Manager

**SUPV. TITLE**:
HR Director

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
To provide leadership on Company Reward Strategy and responsibility for developing, implementing, and administering for KFC total rewards and benefits and Overview the overall HR strategy for above stores employees.

**JOB SIZE**:
Soul Foods Group of Companies is a family-owned business, established in the UK and expanded into Canada, comprising three global brands, KFC, Starbucks, and Taco Bell, with a total of 381 restaurants and a fast-growing team of over 7,500 employees.

**JOB FUNCTIONS**.
- Oversee and manage the payroll and benefits operations and provide leadership and training to the Payroll and Benefits team.
- Hold ownership of all aspects of payroll processing and reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Being an expert in Excel, own and manage a variety of complex reports for the Leadership Team.
- Take a lead role in managing and overseeing the Soul Bonus program.
- Serve as an HR Business Partner for the Above Restaurant Employees.
- Foster relationships and collaborate with external stakeholders, such as vendors managing benefits programs and payroll systems, and government and account representatives.
- Development and implementation of the reward strategy to include: salary benchmarking, pension arrangements, benefits management and annual compensation events such as bonus and salary review.
- Business expert in all matters relating to reward, advising senior managers and the HR team on all issues.
- Design and implement appropriate reward programs to ensure special and unique benefits
- Support the administration of above store level compensation, salary administration, transfers, secondments, and employment contracts.
- Provides support and guidance to HRBPs, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED**:

- Educated to a University level. Minimum 2:1 degree.
- Preferably CHRP qualified.
- A minimum of 2 years’ compensation and benefits experience.
- ‘Stretch’; clear potential to build into a director position within 3 years.
- Line management experience and ability to lead a team.
- HR information systems experience.
- Advanced Knowledge in Excel is a must
- Able to read analysis and interpret statistical information.
- Highly numerate with strong analytical capability.
- Someone who will be committed to the success and growth of the organisation, and who will fit into the culture and enjoy the values held as important by KFC and Yum Brands.
- Energetic and driven, with the ability to work at pace in a changing environment.
- Robust and resilient.
- Tenacious, with a real desire to achieve results.
- Truly collaborative and credible, and able to work cross-functionally.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
