**Pipeline Studios is looking for an IT Support Technician to join our growing team**
- Pipeline Studios is a leading global production company focused on developing, producing, and distributing award-winning kids and family content for audiences worldwide._

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and maintain studio’s servers, computer systems and networks, ensuring that they are secured and operating at peak performance
- Help administer servers and network services AD, DNS, DHCP, SMB, NFS
- Maintain tape backups
- Assist in operating the help-desk, conducting follow-ups and managing tickets
- Help administer network switches, network storage, virtual server infrastructure and firewall
- Diagnose and solve hardware or software faults
- Replace or upgrade computer parts as required
- Provide user support, procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
- Set up new users’ accounts and profiles, dealing with password and access issues as required
- Prioritize and manage many open cases simultaneously
- Research, test, and evaluate new technology and/or business processes
- Recommend new ways to implement and deploy technology, secure systems and enhance productivity
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to disaster prevention, best practices, and recovery strategies
- Ongoing review of security measures and strategy - keeping infrastructure and studio data safe and private
- May require lifting and carrying desktop computers up to 25 lbs
- Some on-call responsibilities may be required

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science and/or Information Technology or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working with networking, switches and routing technologies
- Experience or certification in Windows/Linux platforms
- Experience developing with programming languages such as Python, C++, HTML and Java
- Experience in the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of relevant software packages including Maya, Houdini, Nuke, V-Ray, and other industry specific software is desirable
- Experience working in TV or post-production is desirable
- Strong minute/note-taking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, with impeccable multi-tasking skills
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and materials
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to ever-changing production requests
- A team-oriented mentality with a friendly, positive and professional attitude
- Top-level, quality service approach is a MUST
