The Hutchinson Community College seeks a highly skilled and experienced individual to serve as the Executive Director of ITS. As a key member of the college's leadership team, this executive will be responsible for leading the Information Technology Services (ITS) department in achieving its strategic objectives and supporting the college's mission, vision, and core values.

Job Summary:

This is an at-will position that may be terminated with or without cause and with or without notice at any time by the college. The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $90,000 and $120,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

About the Role:

The Executive Director of ITS will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of information technology systems and services across the college. Key responsibilities include directing personnel, operations, and projects; establishing priorities and managing budgets; facilitating communication between ITS and other college departments; and managing digital media operations and personnel.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing information technology personnel.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with IT industry standards; such as ITIL.
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
