**About the Role**:
The Program Manager, facilitates value creation within Value Stream teams ensuring they have the guidance and tools they require to, successfully deliver on their commitments, and introduce value into the market.

This position can be in various regions that Armstrong operates in around the world, with regular travel to the Armstrong Facilities and Customers.

In addition to annual/quarterly initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:
**Process Control**:

- Ensure optimized flow of value generation activities within teams.
- Aid with risk management and dependency tracking.
- Support teams with process guidance surrounding Agile/Lean/Design Thinking and Armstrong’s own internal processes.

**Planning**:

- Support teams’ readiness by fostering continuous exploration process.
- Own the documentation and visibility of the teams’ objectives.
- Coordinate and communicate annual planning calendars and events for iterations and program increments with and across teams.
- Participate in economic decision making by facilitating feature and capability estimations, rolling those up to portfolio level when necessary.

**Tracking and Measuring**:

- Support the tracking of feature execution and capabilities to identify gaps and measure commitment success rates.
- Create, maintain, and measure the teams’ objectives and key results while identifying trends and needs across program increments over time.
- Coordinate changes through continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in team and multi-team planning sessions to ensure that team is aligned with rest of the organization and that proper communication has taken place regarding needs and dependencies.

**Strategy Execution and Value Delivery**:

- Facilitate agile rituals and ceremonies in a value stream and/or among all value streams.
- Work with product owners and solution architects to ensure strategy and execution alignment.
- Ensure that objective and key results are aligned with portfolio and strategy while keeping them visible and a focus of the teams’ efforts.
- Participate in portfolio level interactions to ensure alignment and information flow occur resulting in informed decision making and execution.

**Role Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of work experience.
- 3-5 of years of program management experience working with engineering, manufacturing, finance, and distribution operations in an industrial environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of agile principles, general practices and industry regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to embrace and enact change.
- Promote continuous learning, improvement, and development within a team.
- Strategic thinker with ability to keep a team focused on outcomes and customer driven value delivery.
- Creative problem-solving skills, conflict management and constructive interactions with varying stakeholders.
- Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action.
- Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
- Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:
