Office Manager/bookkeeper

Wal-Kat Equipment is a well-established sales & service material handling company, serving the lower Okanagan Valley. We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual for an office administrator/ bookkeeper, to help manage the daily operations.
**This position shall comprise of**:
- Keep financial records and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms and other government documents
- Organize and maintain an office as directed
- Able to delegate service call jobs to technicians
- Parts ordering as required
- Other duties as assigned
**Core Competencies required for this position**:
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills
- Thorough understanding of Quick Books accounting program
- College program in accounting or course in accounting or bookkeeping
**Compensation for this position**:
- Hourly remuneration based on experience
- Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, no weekends or Stat Holidays
- Medical & Dental extended benefit package after qualifying period
