**About the Job**
The Senior program Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the DevOps team by ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with the DevOps engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to drive the successful execution of complex programs that enhance the developer operations experience.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage multiple DevOps programs from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to program scope and objectives.- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to define program requirements, milestones, and deliverables.- Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, and status reports.- Identify and mitigate program risks and issues, ensuring successful program outcomes.- Coordinate and facilitate program meetings, ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.- Provide regular updates to senior management on program progress, challenges, and opportunities.- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures in all program activities.- Mentor and guide junior program managers and team members, promoting best practices in program management.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of program management processes and tools.
**About You**
You are an experienced program manager with a strong background in DevOps or software development programs. You excel in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders. You are a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for driving successful program outcomes.
**Required Skills and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in program Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 10+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on DevOps or software development programs.- Proven track record of delivering complex programs on time and within scope.- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Experience with program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- PMP or similar program management certification (ie PGMP) is a plus.
**Bonus Skills**:
- Experience in the robotics industry or knowledge of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).- Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, and other DevOps tools and technologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
