You will be working for Ficanex Technology Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Prodigy Ventures that is focused on supporting financial institutions in delivering business critical services to end consumers.
FICANEX is looking to onboard a dynamic and energetic team player who is able to contribute to all development stages of our multifaceted digital solutions. The Product Analyst should be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a small company with ambitious goals and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and work hard to ensure company success.
Reporting to the VP of Digital Product, the Product Analyst is responsible for collaborating with various business and technology partners, as well as working directly with end clients to elicit, create, and lead business requirements and product artifacts throughout the project lifecycle. There is a significant customer success component to the role, where the Product Analyst will work closely with new clients to optimize their product during implementation.

Responsibilities*
- Effectively elicit, articulate and author business requirements documents as well and client-facing product presentations.
- Maintain understanding of partner and vendor roadmaps, and have an understanding of how these technologies can be leveraged to bring business value.
- Identifying and diagnosing deficiencies related to solution designs and recommending solutions for mitigation. In addition, contributing significantly to backlog and release management for all digital solutions.
- Contribute to the preparation of the test strategy, test scripts for system integration testing and functional testing.
- Assist in the coordination of testing including the support with partners and vendors.
- Follow and lead established testing processes, in doing so, identify, assess, address, resolve and/or escalate, develop contingency plans as needed.
- Contribute to the design of the end to end processes for development, implementation, use, reporting and feedback on developed product.
- Serve as a back-up for operational support of product platforms

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years working in related systems, business environments, and/or technical support roles
- 1-2 years in a Business Analysis or QA role leading projects and designing business solutions
- Familiarity with the technology trends and how this impacting Canadians now and in the future
- Experience working in the Canadian payments or financial services industries is an asset
- Experience working in start-up environment for a technology company an asset
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and led requirement design sessions and produced relevant solution design documents in alignment to with all the stakeholder needs
- Entrepreneurial spirit: Comfortable in a lean operating environment. Has a healthy appetite for risk and experimentation over bureaucracy
- Exceptional interviewing skills with strong listening and observational skills to elicit comprehensive business requirements, technical specs, and testing artifacts
- Quick learner who thrives on ownership, and can work independently and as a part of team
- Demonstrated problem solver, creative thinking and ability to provide out-of-the-box ideas and implementation to evolve & mature the overall technology operations and processes
- Ability to prioritize and tolerate ambiguity while meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate through oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, demonstrate detailed orientation and organizational skills with a track record of consistently meeting deliverables
- Allies with other business functional areas to remain current on project status, and inform partners & management of progress; conversely, keeps business managers aware of user issues and resolves conflicts
