Many of PUR’s projects fall within the categories of value chain linked in initiatives centered on regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, forest conservation, reforestation, and coastal and marine restoration; in temperate and tropical countries.

PUR works directly with, and on behalf of, the world’s largest food and beverage, cosmetics and fashion brands; as well as select complementary technology, finance and service organizations.

**ROLE**

PUR is seeking a dynamic financial or quantitative analyst to work directly with the Product Development Manager based in Toronto or Paris, supporting our global teams in the financial, statistical, and economic analysis of new products, services, concepts and processes under development. The Analyst will also support the evaluation of in-field impacts of PUR’s nature-based project activities through a financial and economic lens. Impacts include, but are not limited to carbon, nature, livelihoods, water and farm economics & productivity.

This person will work closely with the Product Intervention & Outcome Specialists and finance teams in the process of evaluating new concepts, technical partnership opportunities, and practices for their relevance to PUR’s product portfolio.

The main responsibilities in a non-exhaustive manner of this ambitious role will be:
**New Product / Implementation ROI Analysis**
- Develop, with the support of Product and Finance Teams, a rapid & standardized costing and ROI assessment tool for the evaluation of new potential product features, partnerships, or implementation.
- Implement ROI Analysis on a consistent and ongoing basis to support Product Team decision making, activity prioritization and cost engineering.
- Support the final pricing implementation of new initiatives into the cost structure of products as they are formally updated for external purposes.
- Support the Chief Product Officer, Intervention Specialists Lead, and Product Development Manager with prioritization of roadmaps through a quantitative analytics approach.
- Manage the organization and continuous improvement workflow of quantitative analysis tools and resources.

**Economic Analysis**
- Support the formalization of a Farm-Level economic analysis tool for temperate and tropical regions in support of Livelihoods Specialist and Intervention Specialists, to be reviewed and vetted by Finance Team;
- Support definition of data collection or amalgamation requirements to support economic analysis with Intervention and Livelihood Specialists, Projects Teams, and Product Development Manager;
- Manage and update economic analyses in their pilot phases based on new and updated information.
- Develop business case for presentation to PUR Leadership for new piloting proposals.

**Product Team Support**
- Act as global support for product team, under the management of the Product Development Manager, to address capacity/resource constraints across the team.
- Foster a collaborative environment resulting in the successful implementation of transversally applicable tools and products.
- Masters degree in accounting, finance, business, or statistics
- 2-3 years of experience in related fields such as statistical and/or strategic financial analysis, project financial management
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including excel and data visualization, to extract insights from financial data and inform strategic decisions. Proven track record of developing complex financial and risk management models.
- Fluent in English. French and/or Spanish is considered an asset.
