At Industrial Plankton we develop and produce bioreactors, focused on improving global food security and mitigating greenhouse gasses. We’re a manufacturing company with a healthy dose of R&D. Founded in 2010, we’re a dynamic group that loves to innovate, build, and support our clients. To improve its administrative processes, Industrial Plankton is hiring an Office Administrator / Bookkeeper Assistant for its admin team. The position entails full-time, on-premise duties at our facility. We are currently located in Victoria BC, just off the Galloping Goose Trail, but will move in a few months to our brand-new office and factory in Langford, BC.
**Main duties**
- General office admin
- Incoming phone call management

- Document scanning
- Team-building support
- Bookkeeping assistance
**Expected qualifications**
- Bookkeeping and office admin experience.
- Outstanding attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Full-time, on-premises availability.
- Proficient with Gsheets and general office automation tools.
- Knowledge of the Xero accounting system is a plus.
**Compensation**
- $25 - $30 per hour.
