**About the Bookkeeper and Office Administrator Position**:
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
- Fluency in English - reading, writing and speaking
- Well organized, great at multitasking, detailed/accurate,
- Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills with a willingness to learn and take initiative;
- Demonstrated Proficiency in Quick Books
- Demonstrated Proficiency in MS office programs and/or Google Applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Google Docs and Sheets
- minimum of 3 years ii.e. history of working in a private business being responsible for office administration and accounting/bookkeeping duties
- dealing with projects and contracts

**Desired Skills and Attributes**:

- Outgoing and friendly with a proactive personality and curious mind
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic small company environment.
- College or university diploma/degree related to Accounting and or Business Administration
- Keen on learning in the position

**Bookkeeping Tasks***:

- Accounts Receivable processing;
- Accounts Payable processing;
- Petty Cash Management
- Assist with Monthly/Quarterly government reporting, remittances as needed (GST, PST, WCB & Source Deductions);
- Assist with Payroll as needed
- Process expense reports
- Track and record purchasing transactions
- Liaising with customers/clients regarding billings (AP) and collections (AR)

**Administrative Tasks**:

- Reception (greeting clients, preparing/receiving couriers & mail)
- Assist management with drafting letters and documents and maintaining templates.
- Ordering office supplies, coffee room etc,
- Filing, photocopying/scanning, assisting with mailouts and general office duties as required;
- Manage online and offline filing system
- Perform CRM data entry and maintenance as required.
- Assist with benefits administration, vacation tracking
