**Job Title**

Operations Specialist

**What is the role?**

The Operations Specialist provides analysis for implementation and improvement of processes, workflow, project management methods, computer systems and other tools to support insurance policy administration and customer service. Has expert organizational knowledge and deep understanding of the operational environment.

**What will you do**
- Developing appropriate project management procedures and tools for all major activities; assisting members of the organization in the use of project management methods and tools.
- Determining needs and suggesting solutions for administrative improvements in procedures, processes or systems to support other functions.
- Identifying needs and suggesting solutions for customization or alterations of technical tools to support unusual or new business requirements.
- Providing technical support and training to administrative staff in the use of computer systems, to collect and analyze information.

**What do you need to succeed**

**Must Have**
- Keen attention to detail
- Fluent in Cantonese & Mandarin languages
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Available to work shifts within business hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (PST)
- Agility to respond to urgent/and or complicated tasks
- Adaptability to changing processes, tool and client demands
- Keenness and willingness to continually learn new process, tools, products implemented, or similar roles within Specialized Service Group
- Willingness to work from home and the office for a predetermined number of days, understanding the RBC work from home guidelines may change and willing to comply to them
- Willingness to remain in the role for 18 months
