Reporting to the Director, Transit Planning, Ridership and Revenue, the Integration Manager will be the key liaison between the City of Edmonton and our contracted operator, ensuring the seamless operation of the Valley Line (Southeast and West).
You'll be responsible for overseeing the operating agreement and actively participating in Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) strategic and business planning to represent Valley Line operations. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on Edmonton's transit system.
**What will you do?**
- Lead a collaborative team and inspire them with purpose and vision to achieve their full potential
- Oversee the successful delivery of the operating agreement for both the Southeast and West Valley Lines
- Champion Valley Line operational needs in ETS strategic and business planning
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to shape the future of Edmonton's transit system
- Monitor Contractor(s) performance in delivering Valley Line service, in accordance with requirements of the Project Agreement(s)
- Coordinate with the Owners Engineer, Contractors, and internal business partners as needed to resolve issues related to operations
- Foster strong, mutually supportive relationships with internal teams and external partners to drive mutual understanding and achieve shared goals
- Focus on the team by building a respectful workplace culture through a values-based influencer approach and working collaboratively
- Anticipate business opportunities, influence policy, planning and initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability through performance measurement
**Qualifications**:
- Knowledge, training and / or education in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field
- Related experience delivering projects to completion
- Experience managing large, complex contracts
- Experience working on P3 projects
- Combinations of education and experience will be considered
**Assets**:
- A Professional Engineer (P.Eng). P.Eng requires the member to be in good standing with APEGA
- Masters in Business Administration, Masters in Public Administration or a related field
- Additional certification and/or training in project management; financial management; public administration or other related field
- Experience working in public transit, Light Rail Transit service preferred

**Conditions of Employment and Work Environment**:
- 1 permanent, full-time position
- Hours of Work: 36.9 hours per week, Monday - Friday. This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to work from both home and the worksite.
- Salary Range: (Annually) $107,746.00 - $153,924.00
- Hire is dependent on Criminal Information Check satisfactory to the City of Edmonton. There may be a cost associated with this requirement.
