**_ What is a day in a life of a HR Specialist at theturnlab?_**

This role is accountable for the design, delivery and measurement of Human Resources processes and programs, talent planning and other business-driven HR deliverables - supporting the organization to attract, motivate and retain a diverse and inclusive, high-performing, and collaborative workforce. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting management with resource planning; overseeing and coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Working in partnership with colleagues to advance the talent agenda and ensure the successful execution of annual performance cycle processes through planning, project management, training, reporting and analysis.
- Providing leadership and support on projects; gather and connect pieces of information to improve HR metrics and link projects and programs thematically.
- Preparing regular reports, synthesize, and analyze data, information and evidence and draw meaningful conclusions - delight partners by providing insights they did not have previously.
- Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and managers, interacting as required, often on unplanned questions and scenarios, providing coaching and guidance related to best practices, legislation compliance, conflict management, organizational effectiveness, performance management, rewards & recognition.
- Acting as an HR resource to employees in the areas of benefits, employee relations, career planning, policies, and procedures interpretation.

**_What value will you bring to our team?_**
- University degree, with emphasis in a field related to an HR discipline and/or CHRL designation
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience with a particular emphasis on reporting, data review/analysis, strategy development, project leadership, management, and execution
- Ability to navigate in a fast-paced multi-department organization effectively and successfully with multiple stakeholders by prioritizing work requests and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills and advanced MS Excel functionality (including V-lookup and pivot tables) and ability to compile, review, prepare and present data.
- Experience using an HRIS.
- Excellent research skills and resourcefulness, including an orientation to be informed through data
- A balance of strategic and tactical strengths with strong planning/project execution skills and the ability to operate effectively in both structured/ambiguous situations and under directed/self-managed conditions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to flex to different styles and challenge the status quo constructively
- Strong consulting skills, ability to listen, ask good questions and develop solutions.
- Highly organized to manage large amounts of data and information and compile appropriately for tracking and reporting.
