The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for the invoice payment process for multiple companies within the Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE) organization.
This role will focus on:
- Recording and scanning vendor invoices received and send out for approval
- Providing invoice coding as required and inputting and uploading vendor invoices into the ERP system
- Verifying vendor invoice tax calculations and self-assessing taxes as needed
- Reconciling vendor statements and communicating with vendors and/or departments as necessary
- Processing staff expense reports, ensuring appropriate backup and approvals are submitted
- Ensuring approved invoices and expense reports adhere to company policies and procedures
- Preparing weekly vendor payments, including cheques, EFT, and credit card payment runs
- Assisting with vendor onboarding to EFT payments, confirming banking information with vendors directly
- Performing credit card reconciliations by working with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation of all charges incurred
- Recording fixed asset details obtained from vendor invoices into the ERP’s fixed asset module
- Adhering to the AP month-end deadlines which include preparing journal entries for intercompany transactions
- Providing input and assistance with special projects on the horizon such as a new document management system that would provide automated approvals and a paperless environment
- Assisting during the annual audit by providing supporting documentation as needed

**YOU HAVE**:
- At least two years of accounts payable experience
- Strong organization skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Team player attitude with a strong customer service focus
**YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE**:
- Experience with MS D365 Business Central and SAP Concur
