**The Opportunity**:
The Accounts Payable Administrator will report directly to the Senior Property Manager and will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable invoices, documents and payments in a timely, accurate manner and assisting in the overall success of the Accounts Payable & Operations team.
**What You Will Do**:
- Upload and data entry of AP invoice preparation in document management system
- Ensure the accuracy of the invoices and applicable tax
- Process payments as per established cheque run
- Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements
- Handle utility & telephone billings and track account information
- Handle void cheques and vendor setup requests
- Confirm vendors are registered correctly on ComplyWorks
- Process Visa entries and also employee expenses as requested
- Work with future PO system to ensure invoices are correctly matched prior to payment
- Responsible for the distribution of the daily mail and courier
- Provide support to the Property Administrator team as required
- Work closely with PM & operations team to ensure proper approvals are received
- Provide assistance on chargebacks and other AP related issues
- Provide top level customer service to both internal and external customers
- Review ongoing processes for efficiency and provide proactive suggestions to improve team performance
- Adhere to Accounts Payable policies and procedures
- Other duties as required
**Who You Are**:
- 1-2 years related accounts payable experience;
- Experience in real estate operation a definite asset but not required;
- **Relationship Skills -** Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships;
- **Organizational/Multi-Task Skills** - Ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines; ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and constant changes;
- **Computer Skills -** Strong skills in Excel and Word.
