Office Administrator/bookkeeper

Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented part-time Office Administrator and Book Keeper to join our team. You will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks to assist with the smooth operation of our office. Book Keeping for our construction company and for various independent properties is also required.
**Duties**:
- Maintain and update company records and databases
- Assist with budgeting and account reconciliation tasks
- Utilize accounting software QuickBooks for financial management
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable and perform account analysis
- Manage corporate outlook schedule for meetings and deadlines
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Ensure office procedures are followed and implement improvements when needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator and/or book keeper in a similar role
- Proficient in using accounting software QuickBooks mandatory
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, account reconciliation, and payroll processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
