**Business Development Associate**

**Position Summary**:
Assist Regional and National Sales Team as needed to further advance customer satisfaction and retention. This includes order processing, developing reports and answering inquiries regarding order status and equipment delivery. This may also include responding to customer inquiries and preparing quotes. Successfully develop and grow long-term relationships with National Account & Independent Customers’ Management, Sales and Support Personnel through inbound and outbound contact.

**Performance Expectations**:

- Assist Regional Sales Team to exceed annual sales targets and to increase market share for all product lines within the territory.
- Establish and develop long-term relationships with customers for both Independent and National business within the Region.
- Effectively communicates and works cross-functionally with Field Sales, Product Support Teams, BDA’s and factory personnel
- Perform back up responsibilities for Regional BDA and Territory Managers as needed.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience.

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Minimum two years of construction equipment sales, rental sales, telematics sales/support, or Skyjack experience.
- Strong business acumen
- Proven record of sales or support success in equipment manufacturing or rental industry.
- Sense of urgency with a strong customer focus.
- Outstanding communicator (oral and written).
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Work well within a team
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Must be able to travel internationally
