Connections Place Clubhouse is a developing, community based non-profit registered charity, accredited by Clubhouse International. The organization serves youth and adults in Victoria and the South Island area who are living with mental health challenges. We currently have over 100 active members, an average daily attendance of over 20 members, and 10 employees.

As members of Clubhouse International, we follow the International Standards for Clubhouse Programs. We pride ourselves in offering hope, encouragement, and opportunities to our members. Our unique model provides a barrier-free collegial environment where members and staff work together to accomplish the work of the Clubhouse. The services and support we presently offer include employment, housing, education, physical wellness, social, and public mental health education.

As Program Manager, you will report directly to the Executive Director, and will primarily function as the lead of unit operations and process development, oversee human resources needs of the Clubhouse, ensuring budgets are followed, staff are looked after, members feel empowered and needs are met, and our standards are followed. You will demonstrate adaptability, strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to exercise discretion, and unconditional positive regard.

As Program Manager, you will have the following skills and experience:

- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent skills in time management and prioritization.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal or no supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious relations with members, staff, and visitors.
- Understanding and whole-hearted support of the International Clubhouse Standards and the Clubhouse Model.
- Attendance at, or willingness to attend, Clubhouse International Colleague Training.
- First-aid and CPR certification (or be willing and able to achieve).
- Fluent in English.

As Program Manager, you will typically work a schedule of 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. However, there may be times when you will need to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. With that said, there is some flexibility in the role with hours according to healthy work-life balance, all while ensuring delivery of quality service and Clubhouse operation.

Pay: $58,000.00-$61,000.00 per year
