Housing Program Manager Position

Pacifica Housing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Housing Program Manager. This position will be responsible for overseeing the successful operation of supportive housing sites, providing leadership to a team, and ensuring policies and procedures are implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of staff in the delivery of services and programs to residents, with a focus on increasing effectiveness and efficiency of overall program performance.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and obligations associated with property management are implemented and adhered to, while contributing to the enhancement of the organization's community profile.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making related to policy development, staffing, and budget processes, as well as meeting regularly with management colleagues to create solutions that advance the successful delivery of programs.
- Manage issues with broad implications, such as critical incidents, community relations, and operational issues, while providing recommendations and input regarding performance measurement and operational indicators.
- A minimum of five years recent experience in supervisory roles within non-profit housing or related social service fields, preferably working with populations impacted by homelessness, addiction, mental health issues, and other barriers to stable housing.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an integrated community team, with excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office programs.
- Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act, harm reduction, and 'Housing First' theory and practice, as well as conflict management and crisis prevention skills.
- Competitive salary: $63,000 - $75,000 per annum, based on experience.
- Minimum six percent vacation accrual rate for regular employees.
