**Position : Technical Program Manager**
**Location : Victoria, BC (Onsite from day 1)**
**Duration : Full Time**

**Requirements**:
- Have held ownership of the overall life cycle of performance engineering and managed multiple complex projects.
- Have expertise in working with different stakeholders in developing a strategy and road map for the performance engineering team.
- Have expertise in Project management activities - prioritization, planning of projects, Stakeholder management, tracking & reporting on status, and resolving blocking issues.
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic technical goals.
- Excellent communication skills, able to flex style and work with all levels within the organization from individual contributors to Executives.
- Ability to manage in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
- 10 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
- 3 years of technical program management experience managing performance teams and projects with Jmeter and AWS.
- 6 years of software background including Performance Engineering, cloud platform (AWS), and Agile process.
- Experience in performance testing tools such as JMeter, and LoadRunner.
- Experience with Load and Soak Testing.
- Understanding of Java performance monitors (JVM, GC, Heap Size, Message Broker).
- Experience with APM tools such as Datadog and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc. across Windows and UNIX platforms, AWS Cloud & Kubernetes.
- PMP and or Scrum certification is considered an asset.
- Experience in handling projects based on Microservices and Kafka.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring process, and growing the team.
- Experience in Retail Systems and delivery (highly valued).
- Ability to validate estimates of effort and impacts for a variety of solutions and influence technical discussions and decisions.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation.
- Strong collaboration skills to achieve business goals collectively across broad teams.
Pay: From $87,821.18 per year
