Trade Marketing Manager

The Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, sales growth, and market share across various retail channels. This role involves close collaboration with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment on brand objectives and to create impactful in-store experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement trade marketing strategies and plans that align with overall brand goals and objectives.
- Promotional Campaigns: Plan and execute promotional activities, including in-store promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns. Ensure campaigns are well-coordinated with sales teams and effectively communicated to retailers.
- Retailer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners. Negotiate and manage trade agreements, including pricing, promotions, and shelf placement.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, materials, and information to drive sales in various channels. Develop trade presentations, sell sheets, and other collateral.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity. Use insights to inform trade marketing strategies and adjust plans as needed.
- Budget Management: Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking ROI on marketing activities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to ensure consistency in messaging and product positioning across all channels.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor the performance of trade marketing activities and campaigns, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, preferably within the food or CPG industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of retail environments and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM and trade marketing software.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
