**Position Overview**:
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated students to join our team as Horticulture Technicians for the winter. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in horticulture, sustainable agriculture, and business operations while contributing to the growth and success of our innovative company.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Please note that this position can involve labor intensive work including; heavy lifting, long hours on your feet, operating equipment, and getting wet and muddy.
- Assist in the cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting of baby leafy greens using controlled environment agriculture techniques.
- Monitor and maintain optimal environmental conditions including temperature, humidity, and lighting.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
- Operate and maintain equipment and systems related to indoor vertical farming technology.
- Participate in packaging, labeling, and quality control procedures to ensure product freshness and consistency.
- Collaborate with team members to execute daily tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Engage in continuous learning and skill development related to horticulture and sustainable agriculture practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience in horticulture, agriculture, or related field is an asset but not required.
