**Account Executive; Construction & Infrastructure**
Aon is looking for an Account Executive for its Edmonton office.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Edmonton office
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

As Account Executive, you will report directly to the National Leader, C&I and the Edmonton C&I Leader
**What the day will look like**
- Identify prospects through local market planning;
- Work with colleagues to executive on new business initiatives;
- Drive new business growth and help the C&I practice meet its’ revenue targets;
- Delivering continuous excellence in servicing an existing book;
- Identifying specific client and prospect needs and developing innovative and cost effective solutions;
- Ensure all procedures, internal client files and correspondence are in compliance with Aon audit standards;
- Coordinating / providing oversight to the account team and establish client service plans that prioritize the account activities and profitability in a value-based approach for the scope of services required;
- Execute Aon’s 3x3 plan, cross-selling and expanding the existing insurance programs with our clients; developing and managing client
- relationships in order to increase penetration sales and cultivate new business opportunities;
- Developing new contacts and build relationships with prospects that align with the Region’s/Branch’s acknowledged targeted industry or segment groups;
- Acting as the visible face of Aon to the clients/prospects in the community, working to consistently prospect and facilitating lead generation activities; and
- Participating in industry sponsored events and maximize opportunities to become involved with various industry committees;
- Leading by example by demonstrating and sharing with all lines of business the importance of best practice; and
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;
- Consistent track record of prioritizing tasks under ambitious timelines;
- Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;
- Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package;
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, including both self-directed learning and in-role training.
