**Position Summary**:
NPower Canada is seeking a Stewardship and Volunteer Specialist who will be a key member of NPower Canada’s Development Team working to position the organization for future growth and success as a leader in Canada’s workforce development and skilling sector.

Reporting to the Manager, Stewardship and Volunteer Engagement, this position will help with coordinating NPower Canada’s funder-focused events and corporate volunteer program to create easy and meaningful opportunities for volunteers to engage with NPower Canada and contribute towards its mission. This is an exciting and impactful role that directly contributes to the success of NPower Canada’s stewardship efforts, ensuring donors are directly engaged in our organization’s work and mission.

**Accountabilities**:
Events & Volunteer Management (70%)
- Organize funder-focused volunteer opportunities from concept to completion, creating and maintaining processes/systems for efficient and effective event planning and delivery
- Collaborate with the Program Delivery teams for successful implementation of all volunteer engagement activities
- Lead recruitment and engagement of corporate volunteers in events and mentorship program; oversee orientation process, educating volunteers on NPower Canada’s mission, vision, and impact
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to recognize the success of the volunteer engagement program on social channels, reports and external communications
- Collaborate with NPower Canada’s Innovation & Quality Assurance team to develop and share onboarding and evaluation tools for the corporate volunteer program to measure impact and satisfaction with the goal to continually develop and offer high-impact volunteer opportunities
- Support the execution of special stewardship projects and cultivation events

Donor Relations & Stewardship (30%)
- Oversee the administration of the donor database
- Maintain regular contact with existing funders’ corporate citizenship and engagement teams, providing personalized updates on progress
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of volunteer initiatives, giving campaigns and events

**Who you are**:

- Post-secondary education in Volunteer Management, Event Coordination, Project Management, Fundraising or a related field
- A creative problem-solver with excellent people skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including donors, executives, senior colleagues, corporate volunteers, and all constituencies
- Experience in career development, client-facing roles, and event coordination is an asset
- Experience in working directly with clients from diverse backgrounds including people with disabilities, 2SLGBTQ+, low-income, women and gender-diverse, Indigenous and racialized groups
- Strong understanding of stewardship, project management, and donor retention.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and achieve results organized, detail-oriented, driven, and goal-oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google platforms. Experience with Salesforce is a strong asset
- Bilingualism in French is a strong asset
