**What you will be doing**:

- Research and interpret policies, procedures, agreements, and legislation to provide clients with various advice and ongoing support with creation of letters, processes, policies/procedures and other tools and documents related to terminations, recruitment, employment contracts, accommodation/return to work, investigations, performance management and discipline, compensation, job analysis and design.
- Develop and implement workplans for projects such as recruitment, HR policy implementation, compensation, etc.
- Collaborate with the HR team to share resources, balance workload constraints, plan and assign support staff accordingly.
- Participate in team productivity and skills development, brainstorming solutions, and attend team meetings.

**What you need to succeed**:

- A degree or diploma in human resources, business, psychology or related field.
- CHRP, CHRL or other applicable designations/certifications.
- A minimum five years’ experience working in a progressive HR role, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of Ontario employment law applicable to small employers.
- Strong analytical, critical inquiry/problem solving and mathematical reasoning skills.
- Expert level skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, social media, and productivity software.
- Excellent communication and customer/client relationship skills.
