MacEwan University is seeking a detail-oriented individual for a full-time continuing opportunity as Coordinator, Employee Services with our Human Resources department. The Coordinator, Employee Services provides operational support to the Human Resources department, as well as MacEwan staff, faculty, and management. You will support a broad spectrum of HR activities such as recruitment, onboarding, position management, employee set up, salary administration, leave management, benefits administration, and audit. You will serve as a first point of contact for Faculty, MSA employees, managers and the general public by providing guidance and advice relating to Human Resources policy, processes and programs, as well as collective agreements.

- demonstrated skills providing service excellence to clients and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet strict deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
- intermediate technical aptitude with HRIS (PeopleSoft) and Microsoft Suite

QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or an equivalent degree, with a minimum two years’ experience working in a similar role is required.
- Knowledge and experience working with Human Resources Information Systems is also required.
- Experience working with PeopleSoft HCM is preferred.
- Experience working in a post-secondary environment would be considered an asset.
- Equivalences may be considered.
