We are looking for an Employee Services Representative to join us in the exciting work we do in Employee Resource Centre. It 'll be your responsibility to provide a One ATCO employee experience in relation to inquiries on Human Resources programs, practices, pension, benefits, pay, timecards, etc. The incumbent will be the first point of contact for all employee and management inquiries. This role is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who has experience working in and advancing the shared services model.

- Act as the first point of contact for HR inquires relating to employment, HR programs, practices, pension, benefits, pay, timecards, etc.
- Respond and resolve employee inquiries and requests and escalate where required
- Manage and facilitate the centralized HR process to ensure the business is provided with the appropriate information in a timely manner
- Coordinate the collection, review, tracking and forwarding of forms/documents to internal or external 3rd parties as required
- Provide employment packages (new hire, termination, retirement, employment leaves etc.)
- Complete forms, templates, letters and calculations for employee activities
- Coordinate and prioritize the flow and distribution of incoming employment changes, confirming necessary documentation and signatures
- Provide employee verification letters and handle confirmation of employment phone calls
- Complete vacation and payroll investigations as required
- Review inquiries into the Employee Resource Centre (ERC) and determine gaps/missing information and appropriate audience
- Ensuring our digital Employee Centre and our internal chatbot EDNA are updated and maintained
- Develop strong understanding and familiarity on HR programs, policies and standards, processes, areas of the business and advise HR and the business and administer as required
- Collaborate across HR and other teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities and ensure business needs and impacts are understood
- Seek opportunities to identify process improvements to improve customer service and meet client needs, including working with applicable groups to identify workflow or procedural issues to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively to improve employee experience

Who You Are:

- Undergraduate degree in HR or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a broad range of roles. Direct experience in a shared service model is an asset.
- Experience working in a centralized shared services models as part of the core team answering employee calls, questions and managing HR processes.
- Certified Professional in Human Resources designation is an asset.
- Strong customer service skills with a deep interest in providing an exceptional employee experience with every interaction
- Demonstrated experience improving processes to simply, standardize and automate to create efficiency in HR and the Business.
- Strong understanding of HR employee life cycle processes and policies.
- Experience using a core ERP and HCM system such as Oracle.
- Demonstrated success managing a large volume of work while delivering a quality product with a focus on the customer experience.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects using a systematic process to keep the project on track and stakeholders informed.
- Proven ability to maintain positive relationships with external and internal partners while challenging the status quo and coaching people to think differently about how work is done.
- Growth mind-set and proactive approach to identify improvements, building plans and implementing.
- Ability to manage multi priorities in a fast-paced changing environment.
