- TulaHealth(TulaSalud) supports health systems for developing countries, particularly Guatemala’s rural indigenous communities, by providing education and resources.

To facilitate all of these endeavors, we need strong administration and organizational efforts.

**Who we’re looking for**

We are looking for an HR & Accounting Assistant to join our team This position, based in Campbell River, will report to the CFO, with direction for day-to-day tasks coming from the HR Manager.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assist with updating and amending existing company policies
- Track and schedule HR processes including employee milestones, probationary periods
- Assist in the recruitment process as necessary including creating job postings, checking references, and supporting the onboarding process
- Prepare organization-wide employment contracts
- Update Employee Handbook and Health & Safety Handbook with new and updated policies
- Work with Safety Officer, to report and track incidents with WCB
- Track company-wide safety training needs and work with the Administration Department and Safety Officer to ensure certifications are up to date
- Assist Finance Department with data entry & various administrative duties as required
- Other duties and projects as assigned

**Qualifications and Skills**
- A minimum of two years experience in Human Resources
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Knowledge of general Human Resources policies, procedures & best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office & G-suite is considered an asset
- Must be goal-oriented and able to perform independently, displaying initiative, and a strong sense of commitment
