**Position Description**

**Pay**:
$60 per 60-min class

**Position Summary**:
Group Fitness Instruction two times a week during our program dates for retreat guests with various fitness levels and some with physical limitations and past injuries.

While we run programs most of the year, they are scheduled on specific dates.

This year, there are introduced a few additional program dates.

**Classes Week Days and Hours**:
Group Fitness Classes: Monday and Saturday 11-11:45 a.m. or 12-1 p.m. (45-min group classes are paid at an hourly rate).

If you are skilled in private training, there may be some additional opportunities available (days and times are flexible).

**Must Haves**:

- Fitness Instructor Certification
- Current professional liability
- Min 3 years of experience
- Must live within 30 min from the Resort (you'll need to come often for 1-hr. class at a time).
- An asset: training and experience in personal fitness training

**Personal and Professional Qualities: You**
- Have a good nature, are open, personable and positive.
- Are energetic and fun, and have a great sense of humour.
- Enjoy assisting people with a wide range of fitness (from mobility issues to advanced) and educating them on self-care.
- Have experience accommodating people with a variety of past injuries and mobility issues (due to arthritis, hip replacement etc.). You know how to work with them safely.
- Are creative - people cannot wait until you come for a class
- Build rapport with groups easily and naturally
- Have high professional and personal ethics
- Are reliable, highly organized, punctual and an excellent time manager
- Love being part of an integrative team and are a great team player
- Knowledge and passion for natural health - ideally for a vegetarian lifestyle, but not a must.
- You are aligned with our culture: have a healthy appearance and lifestyle: you walk the talk. Our staff is non-smoking.
