**We are seeking an Educational Consultant to**:

- Collaborate on the planning of training materials and workshops based on approved curriculums for audiences that include educators, school support staff, and school administrators
- Write and revise training materials, training workshops, and supplemental resources
- Facilitate teacher training workshops in online and face-to-face environments
- Write and revise educational materials, such as teacher guides and lesson plans
- Incorporate feedback on draft materials

**Required qualifications and experience**:

- Experience working as an elementary school teacher or a similar role
- Experience with second-language instruction is an asset
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
- Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Google Drive
- Strong writing skills, particularly the ability to write in plain language
- Strong verbal communication skills and professional speaking abilities
- Knowledge of current best practices in education
- Experience writing materials based on curriculums
- Experience working in a Northern context is a strong asset
- A cover letter and resume, sent as one PDF

**This position is for a one year contract with the possibility of extension.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
