Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the strategic planning and execution of consulting projects focused on educational advancements within Indigenous communities and organizations.
  • Oversee teams in delivering a wide range of educational consulting services, including strategic planning, operational assessments, and financial evaluations.
  • Innovate and enhance the value of educational consulting initiatives, ensuring alignment with client objectives and nurturing strong partnerships.
  • Leverage your expertise in client engagements, technical documentation, and presentations to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge to uphold quality standards, proactively addressing issues pertinent to the educational needs of clients.
  • Cultivate relationships within the Indigenous community, identifying opportunities for business development and crafting persuasive proposals to meet client needs.
  • Inspire and guide team members through effective mentorship, constructive feedback, and impactful performance evaluations to facilitate their growth.
  • Be prepared to travel and engage with clients in person as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of six to seven years of experience in an educational environment, preferably with Indigenous organizations or governmental bodies.
  • Experience in consulting with proven project management capabilities is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, political science, social sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications will be considered an asset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in people management, relationship cultivation, and leadership.
