As a key member of our Indigenous Services division, the Manager of Education Consulting will play a pivotal role in addressing the distinct educational needs of Indigenous communities. With a robust portfolio of over 250 Indigenous clients and a dedicated team of 500 professionals, we are uniquely positioned to deliver tailored solutions that resonate with the specific requirements of Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the strategic planning and execution of consulting projects aimed at enhancing educational outcomes within Indigenous communities and educational authorities.
  • Direct teams in providing a wide range of educational consulting services, including strategic planning, operational assessments, and financial evaluations.
  • Innovate and implement strategies that add significant value to educational consulting initiatives, ensuring alignment with client expectations and fostering robust partnerships.
  • Leverage your expertise to contribute to client engagements, technical documentation, and management presentations, ensuring the delivery of superior quality outputs.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge to uphold quality standards, proactively identifying and resolving issues pertinent to clients' educational requirements.
  • Cultivate relationships within the Indigenous community, identifying opportunities for business development and crafting persuasive proposals to meet client needs.
  • Inspire and guide team members through effective mentorship, constructive feedback, and impactful performance evaluations to facilitate their professional development.
  • Be prepared to travel and engage with clients face-to-face as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of six to seven years of experience in an educational environment, preferably with Indigenous organizations, communities, or governmental entities.
  • Experience in a consulting capacity with proven project management capabilities is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor's degree in education, public administration, political science, social sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications will be considered an asset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in people management, relationship cultivation, and leadership.
