**The scope of work and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following**:

- Communicate and collaborate effectively with peers, tenants, guests, community members, and other professionals, both verbally and written.
- Develop positive relationships with tenants.
- Assist and actively support tenants with basic and complex needs.
- Ensure safety by screening and managing visitors according to guidelines.
- Maintain a safe and clean work and living environment.
- Serve as a role model for tenants.
- Cleaning duties as required.
- Other duties and committee work as assigned.
- Attending monthly staff meetings.

**Desired qualifications and skills include**:

- A minimum of a two-year Certificate or Diploma in a human services discipline; Degree preferred.
- Direct experience working with individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness is preferred.
- An understanding of complex needs such as brain injury, addictions, and mental illness.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Physically fit and able to climb stairs and lift up to 50lbs.
- Confidence in dealing with conflict and complex situations.
- Completion of Intermediate First Aid Level C CPR & AED.
