The Range Attendant position is in place to assist in the daily functions of the business. This position is a very part time position with no guarantee for hours, but with the potential to gain more hours depending on work habits and seasonal need.

**Job Requirements**:

- Must be able to work a variety of shifts (early morning, afternoon, evenings) including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform physical labour.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Utilization of driving range equipment to collect all the golf balls on the field.
- Utilization of automated ball washer to wash all golf balls once they come in from the field.
- Ensure the members’ area is always organized appropriately.
- Ensure the Instruction area is always organized appropriately as well as golf tees in the den caddies.
- Ensure that all teaching and instructional equipment is returned to its home at the end of the day.
- Ensure all garbage bins and ashtrays are emptied daily.
- Ongoing cleanliness of the ball shed.
- Continuously monitor instruction area, member area as well as short game area and direct people that may be in the wrong place.
- Oversees the cleanliness of the facility, inclusive of the building and around the clubhouse including parking lot.
- Ability to communicate professionally to staff, management, suppliers, and guests by phone or in person.
- Ability to carry out and communicate to others detailed, written or verbal instructions, as well as prepare for daily and ongoing events.
- Ensure that daily support staff checklists are being followed.
- Other Duties as required by Manager, Director of Instruction, Assistant Manager, and Pro Shop Supervisor

**Requirements**:

- A basic understanding of the game of golf is an asset but not required.
- Previous experience working with Golf Course equipment is an asset but not required.
- Good Physical Strength - Ability to stand/walk/bend/push/pull for extended periods.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- May be required to work in an environment that includes such activities as bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting. May need to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 30 lbs. frequently.
- Must be available to work as soon as the facility opens (mid-late March) and through to the end of the season (early November).
