**Master Flo Valve Inc.** is currently seeking a **CMM Operator / Quality Control Inspector** to work in **Edmonton, AB.**

**Work Conditions**:

- Monday to Friday, 8 hour days
- Work is primarily performed indoors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Programming and Operation of the CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- Perform all Quality Control / Inspection activities for Master Flo Valve Inc.

**Duties Include**:

- Inspection of incoming parts in accordance with relevant purchasing, engineering, and quality requirements
- Inspection of welds and associated supplier certification, calibration, procedural records
- Review of non-destructive examination reports
- Identification, recording, and processing of non-conformances
- Review of material test reports
- Calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments (micrometers, bore gages, calipers, plug gages, ring gages, torque wrenches, etc.)
- Performance of troubleshooting / problem solving and special measurement calculations
- Maintenance of clean working environment
- Training and mentoring other Quality Control Inspectors on proper measurement techniques and practices
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- **CNC / CMM operating/programming experience**:

- **A minimum of 5 years of machine shop inspection and / or other relevant experience**:

- High School Graduate or higher; diploma in materials or mechanical engineering discipline is an asset
- Oil and gas industry experience is an asset
- Good knowledge of drawing / blueprint reading
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to pass an eye examination to meet ISO 9712 requirements
- A proven commitment to workplace health and safety
