We are looking for a **Pricing and Contracting Solutions Lead** who is **experienced, dedicated** **and flexible** to join us in our** Access, Pricing and External Engagement (APEX)** team.

**About the role**

The main purpose of this position is the support of the Canadian APEX team in all aspects of pricing and contracting for pipeline products as well as for launched products, with special emphasis on support of price negotiations and contract extensions as needed.

**Who you’ll work with**

You will be part of the local APEX team, in close coordination with local and global partners, embrace and accompany all market access aspects of UCB products during the whole life cycle starting from early pipeline stage to loss of exclusivity. In an environment built on trust and partnership, the team strives to provide all patients in need with sustainable access to the therapies they need.

**What you’ll do**
- Direct evidence plans from early product stage to capture measures valued by stakeholders
- Support creation of a pricing strategy for our pipeline products based on Global and Regional guidance, with innovative contracting aspects as appropriate
- Preparation for contract negotiations with stakeholders
- Administration, monitoring and reporting of reimbursement contracts
- Monitoring of competitor price positions and the other reimbursement decisions in market and implications for pricing strategies
- Support of dossier preparations and launch activities from a pricing perspective for PMPRB, pCPA, Private Payers and other stakeholders as necessary
- Lead pricing business cases and approvals as needed in conjunction with local finance and global/regional pricing teams
- Monitor price policy reforms and develop perspectives on these on UCB product pricing implications and external engagement stance
- Develop and maintain network of stakeholders to enable a partnered approach

- Master’s degree in Sciences, Health Economics preferred (or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in the Canadian Market Access and Pricing environment, especially regarding PMPRB
- Knowledge of the Canadian health care system and relevant pricing processes
- Strong interpersonal skills, capacity to build a personal network to internal and external stakeholders
- Innovative, can-do attitude, hands-on problem-solving skills, and ability to keep composure in a dynamic and changing environment
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written), French language is an asset
