**Major Duties**

Plan, develop, implement & evaluate corporate training programs of all levels:

- Assess training needs; Identify skills gaps, job-specific requirements, and areas for improvement. Gather input from employees and supervisors to determine training priorities.
- Set organizational training objectives
- Clearly state the purpose and expected outcome of the training.
- Identify additional barriers to training (ex. Do employees need time off to take the training? Language barriers, etc)
- Create a training action plan: Design relevant training modules that are engaging and aligned with organizational goals. Use various instructional methods, such as workshops, e-learning platforms, and on-the-job training. Consider timelines, employee engagement, KPI goals, and related resources. Participant progress should be monitored during training to ensure the program is successful and meets training objectives

Recruitment Management
- Champion and innovate full cycle recruitment processes
- Managing the recruitment and selection process, from screening to hiring to onboarding
- Foster a culture of inclusive talent identification, attraction, and assessment
- Support management with the recruitment processes (monitoring the postings, phone interviews etc.)
- Act as a company liaison and corporate representative at 3rd party events

Policies and Procedures
- Draft new and manage existing policies and procedures; updating employee and corporate handbooks accordingly
- Ensure compliance for all policies & procedures and federal & provincial laws.
- Educate employees and management on policy and procedures
- Strategize, or implement corrective measures, to increase policy adherence and to handle when policies are not followed.
- Manage policy updates and adherence proactively

Employee Relations and Performance Management
- Training, counseling, and coaching staff on best practices
- Coach managers on performance management and improvement
- Assist in the creation/follow up of action plans around improving employee’s performance
- Participate in employee reviews, write-ups, talent acquisition and position transfers
- Resolving conflicts and grievances through positive and professional mediation
- Conduct employee exit interviews
- Conduct periodic engagement surveys to measure employee satisfaction and employee engagement
- Develop and implement engagement initiatives that increase retention
- Lead and advise on employee relations issues (particularly within departments and portfolio teams)
- Lead investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forward
- Prepare and administer termination notices and related documentation around termination of employment

**Minor Duties**

Coordinate Benefits & Employee Wellness Pursuits:

- Manage Health Benefits
- Manage VTO program & policies
- Manage WTO program & policies
- Engage in employee event planning

Health & Safety
- Support the compliance of health and safety programs
- Coordination with site safety officers as needed
- WCB coordination, tracking, and reporting

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
