Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Local Co-op Analytics Lead on a permanent basis in our Local Co-op & External Relations team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and can be located within Western Canada.

This role will identify new ways to synthesize and use data to deepen understanding, support operational excellence and identify strategic opportunities for local Co-ops and FCL.

**What you’ll do**:

- Plan and advance the long-term analytics work related to local Co-op engagement and relationship health and initiate predictive modeling of FCL’s membership base, ensuring strategies and priorities align with local Co-op trends, opportunities, and emerging needs.
- Work collaboratively with business leaders across the organization to understand local Co-op data and insights requirements and develop a data-as-a-service model to support long-term needs and strategic goals.
- Lead the approach to quantify economic and business value for local Co-ops from FCL services, products, and programming.
- Lead the development of standardized metrics and data visualization for the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) to keep leadership and governance informed and help the organization have our collective fingers on the pulse of relationships across the system.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data to improve insights into risks, opportunities and strengths including the identification of benchmarks and relevant comparisons between local Co-ops.
- Identify insight gaps and partner other data owners/users to better understand FCL’s members, local Co-ops. Look for opportunities to fully use and continuously improve tools, datasets and metrics and identify tangible use cases for analysis and insights.
- Develop objective metrics, iteratively maintain, and leverage deliverables such as heatmaps and visualization diagrams. Align deliverables with stakeholder needs to ensure they’re understood, accessible, up to date and consumable when published.

You will work closely with others in the Co-op & External Relations business unit, as well as the Enterprise Information Management Team, Finance Team, in particular Retail Accounting and Growth and Business Development, Facilities Design and Development, and Strategy. You will report into the Director, Member Relations Enablement and be part of a team that strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, teamwork, creativity and continuous learning.

The Local Co-op Analytics Lead supports FCL’s ability to identify, assess and make decisions which impact our member-owners and strengthen relationships between local Co-ops and FCL and local Co-ops to each other. The Lead develops insights for the purpose of ensuring that member needs, opportunities and risks are understood, and identifying areas for further analysis to support decision-making, strategy development and action plans and to strengthen the co-operative value proposition, sustainment, and competitive advantage. This individual will support the core functions of Co-op and External Relations: Relationship Management, Business Development Opportunity Identification, Stakeholder Engagement and Analysis, Measures and Value Creation.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Member/Stakeholder Relations and:

- Have 8+ years as a financial analyst or strategist role or equivalent, with in-depth stakeholder analysis and retail data analysis experience, scenario development and strategy development experience.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in commerce or a technical domain like finance, engineering, mathematics/statistics or computer science (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have experience presenting complex data in a pictorial or graphical format such as dashboards and collaborating across diverse lines of business and levels of the organization.
- Have experience using data management tools, data modelling and analytical software.
- Are familiar with Salesforce, JDE, MicroStrategy and ServiceNow, preferred.
