Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is seeking a **Manager, Planning Governance.**

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Business or similar
- Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent experience in Shipbuilding, Manufacturing, Construction, or related field
- ISO 9001 Certification an asset
- Project Management Professional (PMP) an asset
- Experience: 10 Years or more experience in shipbuilding, manufacturing quality, or related area
- Experience in quality management, quality assurance, and process management
- Strong written and oral communication skills, experience presenting and influencing leadership.
- Strong organization and task management
- Good technical and business aptitude, fast learner, and effective problem solver.
- All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)._

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute, maintain, and improve the Planning Governance Framework, a tool to support successful project delivery as well as team member development and engagement for the Planning function.
- Strategic alignment with ISI’s Quality Assurance, Process Management, and Strategic Planning teams
- Strategic alignment of functional leadership towards strategic and/or improvement initiatives
- Manage team member tasking, performance, and development.
