**Manufacturing Quality Technician (MQT) / Coordinate Measuring Machine** (**CMM) Operator**

**Wage: $25.00-$29.00 per hour, depending on experience.**

As our **MQT / CMM Operator ** your expertise contribute to our strong reputation for high quality.

**We are seeking a person with the following skill set and competencies**:

- Two or more years’ experience as a CMM Operator and
- Three plus years’ experience as Manufacturing Quality Inspector or equivalent.
- Working knowledge CMM software and hardware.
- Competency using Solidworks or equivalent software an asset.
- Ability to understand and interpret GD&T, blueprints, specifications and production work orders.
- Ability to use measurement tools (measuring tapes and calipers).
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office.
- Experience with ERP systems an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and strong initiative.
- Knowledge of the ISO quality management system(s) an asset
- A minimum of a Grade 12 education is a requirement.
- Combinations of education and experience may be considered.

**Your skills and competencies will help you**:

- Program CMM to measure components, manufactured parts, raw materials, jigs/fixtures, etcin accordance with blueprint, model and/or other applicable specifications.
- Operate CMM; Collect and analyze data from CMM measurements to ensure compliance with blueprint, model and/or other applicable specifications.
- Ensure all parts and certifications meet FPI requirements.
- Report and log NCR’s; work with Quality team to implement corrective action/preventative measures.
- Calibrate and maintain CMM; assist with troubleshooting and resolving CMM program or equipment complications.
- Provide technical support for machined, welded, laser cut, press braked, and assembled parts.
